The graph provides information on the people who are not employed in Ireland represented in percentage for a period of 20 years. The figure also depicts the number of individuals shown by thousands that are leaving the country from 1988 to 2008.

Overall, it can be observed that there was a similar fluctuating pattern for people who are unemployed and those who are going to other countries from Ireland. It can also be noted that there is a significant drop of proportion of people that are not working whereas there was a minimal dip in number of individuals immigrating to another country.

In detail, the highest unemployment rate was seen  in 1988 at 17%. An erratic trend can be observed from 1988 to 1996 ranging from 12 to 17% and the rate steadily declined in 2000 which was twice less than that of in 1996. The pattern then remained constant in the next eight years ending at 6% that was thrice times less than initially recorded in 1988.

In addition, a drove of people less than 60,000 in 1988 had left the country that was the highest recorded over the 20 years study. There was an abrupt decrease in proportion from 1990 to 1992 which was almost half from 55,000. The trend then minimally fluctuated ranging closely to 25,000 to 35,000 in the next 12 years where it began a consistent rising pattern in 2004 and later finished off with a number of 50,000 people leaving Ireland behind at 50,000.

Hi there! I'm back! I already took a IELTS exam this week and I found out during my review days (by the way, I've enrolled in an online review center and it was a great help) that one key to overcoming writing hurdles is to be knowledgeable on things, events and anything under the sun. Whenever I would previously attend live writing practices or mock tests, my mind goes blank and then I would internally panic resulting to further delay in producing a writing output. Later on it dawned on me that I need first to have ideas on things. No matter how I liked writing and though I have been doing it for decades (but it was not on a daily basis), my writing skills seems to come to a halt leaving me stunned every time I try to do a writing task. So here are some links that are interesting and would might be of help.
